That’s essentially what he’s saying here … well, he’s either saying that or he’s saying he doesn’t have the balls to prosecute.
For years, the droning mantra of the left … “Bush is Torturing People!”.
How many times have we heard the Democrats exclaim that Bush was in violation of the Constitution and International Law? How many times?
But now that the Democrats have COMPLETE CONTROL of the Government – they suddenly don’t want to prosecute the CIA agents who executed the “torturing”. In fact – they’ve announced that they’ll DEFEND any CIA agent who is put on trial for torture abroad. And certainly – any such “defense” of these agents will be on the grounds that they DID NOT COMMIT ACTS OF TORTURE IN THE FIRST PLACE. They cannot simply say these men were following orders – and are therefore innocent … if they do then it means the U.S. and it’s WWII allies murdered a lot of innocent Nazis at Nuremburg who were only “following orders”.
The perfect Catch-22.
Make no mistake – this is a clear signal that the Democrats lied and all the rhetoric of “Bush the War Criminal” – is simply melodramatic fluff. At some point – fluff has to be backed up and … even though there is nothing stopping the Obama administration – he’s not backing up the fluff. Quite the contrary – he’s quietly folded his cards.
Bush did not commit crimes – his folks didn’t commit crimes and this is self-evident proof from Obama and the Looney Left that they know he didn’t commit crimes – that they only said he did because of BDS.
And a note to Lefty Loons here – you can keep talking about “Bush the War Criminal” – but every time you do it’s going to remind us of the fact that you’re full of shit – because you won’t back up those words with action. So if you think Bush is … indeed a War Criminal … PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS AND BRING THE CHARGES BABY.
Otherwise you just look like impotent fools. Because you’ve got everything you need to bring charges – except a legitimate case. WE CONSERVATIVES DOUBLE DOG DARE YOU TO BRING IT!

Now … another development today …
Obama is releasing the Bush interrogation memos.
These memos are sure to show the heavy-handed Bush and his diligence in protecting Americans from Terror. I really hope there is some juicy stuff in there about guards threatening to castrate terrorists with a propane torch – but I doubt it. I’m sure I won’t be disappointed though to see that Bush was engaged and driving the problem of preventing terror on American soil – which he was 100 percent successful at.
Now … does the release of these memos damage our national security? Oh yeah – no doubt. But you see – I quit caring anymore. Every morning I wake up I see Obama doing something else that makes us less safe – whether it’s closing Gitmo, or doing away with Water Boarding, or apologizing for our arrogance abroad, or talking with the Iranians and North Koreans. I’d be a stark raving lunatic if I let that stuff bother me anymore – I’m We’re in for another 9-11 folks – no doubt about it – it may even be worse.
But elections have consequences … Americans voted for a weak President … and they got it.
