New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin has stated that he’ll take any porkulus money that Governor Bobby Jindal turns down.
I sure hope so – and perhaps the mayor will take some of that money and pay off the white folks who were victims of discrimination in the New Orleans District Attorney’s office. Yes, that’s right, the good Mayor’s DA thought it was well and fine to go around firing people just because they were white (well … it is the CHOCOLATE CITY right? I mean – what right did they have to even be in the city?)
But, oh well – the courts found otherwise and found that these white folk had been discriminated against.
So there’s one use for your porkulus mayor – pay these folks some money – not sure they were ever paid off.
