The highest-ranking African-American member of Congress on Friday accused Southern governors who oppose economic stimulus spending of indifference to the plight of poor blacks who might benefit from the federal money.
Thanks Jim – for pointing out something that we previously didn’t know – that Obama’s stimulus is all about African Americans.
I mean – if Jimmy thinks that the Southern Governors are being racist for opposing the stimulus – then that must mean the stimulus is primarily a BLACK bill.
Hmmm … we DIDN’T KNOW THAT JIM – Barack Mugabe never told us that. He said this bill was for ALL Americans.
Now … I wouldn’t want to be called a coward by Eric Holder … so I think I need to express my true racial feelings on this matter and, well here they are …
I think it’s pretty damned RACIST for Obama and Jim Clyburn to craft a bill and then sell it as a cure for all our financial woes – when it’s really just a reparations package for blacks. And – well – I think one racist action deserves a racial response – so I’ll just sit back and SUPPORT these governors who’ve obviously figured out your game Jimbo.
I sure hope I didn’t let Eric Holder down with this post.
And by the way Eric … while we’re on the subject of race – I have a question. I live in southern Louisiana – can you tell me why the second generation of Vietnamese immigrants are doing so well down here when their parents scratched and clawed their way to this country barely 30 years ago? How come they’re doing so well here after only 30 years but Blacks are still doing poorly after being freed from slavery 130 years ago? Most of the Vietnamese who came here didn’t speak English – and they were seen as “invaders” here in the South. They didn’t get a lot of help in surviving here.
Let me answer that question for you Mr. Holder – it’s because the Vietnamese are survivors who fought their way up the ladder of success while the African American constituency complained and pounded the table about even being asked to climb a ladder. News Flash Eric – we all have ladders to climb and the African American community is not ever going to do any better until they get on theirs and start climbing. Look at any successful black in this country – and unless he got there by taking money and endorsements from his own people by telling them what they wanted to hear (a la Jessie Jackson / Al Sharpton / YOU) – you’re going to find that most successful blacks, like Clarence Thomas and Michael Steele – CLIMBED THE FUCKING LADDER. So get hot dude.
UPDATE: In a show of support … I just sent my Governor, Bobby Jindal, a letter of support. Funny that Jimmy Clyburn called America’s only Indian-American Governor a racist – in the tradition of the old South. Jimmy – you’re tired and old – that South is gone – get a grip dude.
THANK YOU GOVERNOR! For turning down the porkulus bill money! You have my full support – we shouldn’t be mortgaging our children’s and grandchildren’s futures just to spare us some economic pain in the present.
I’m sorry that Jim Clyburn doesn’t see this. I’m sorry he’s so shortsighted that he’s willing to sell his kids and grandkids down the road so that he can continue to have a political career by pandering to his constituency. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
