I am currently on a business trip in Europe in a location without Internet connection. I’m writing this post into a text editor … and then I’ll post it up when I get to a internet connection (sometime later on today hopefully).
In fact, where I’m at in Europe – it’s so isolated that the only news stations here are local ones which broadcast in the local language – which I can’t understand. Before going to sleep last night – I saw some limited coverage of the American elections – but I lost the signal and went to bed. This morning, during breakfast, one of the locals asked me … “So how will American debate be now with Barack Obama as President?”
“Ah” I replied. “So Obama Won?”
The local said … “Yes, he very clearly won.”
Oooookaaaay ….
Well I told him … “American debate is about to change greatly my friend.”
That’s all I told him – I needed some “private time” to absorb this … very bad news. I had hoped for a McCain comeback – but it was not to be.
Let me say this though …
We NOW have the President that WE deserve.
He will be a bad President. I’m predicting a market drop for Wednesday as soon as traders realize that Obama is a reality. Let’s see if I’m wrong. I’m also predicting a deep recession – possibly depression based on Obama’s economic policies. I’m predicting the gutting of the second amendment. I’m predicting a return of the “fairness doctrine” … which will only be the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the Democratic party’s coming efforts to kill free speech they disagree with. I’m predicting a rigged electoral system – whereby the Democratic party can maintain it’s power indefinitely. I’m predicting the “Unionization” of America – where you will see a resurgence of the labor unions. I’m predicting reduced productivity and loss of jobs because of this. I’m predicting higher taxes – for anyone who makes over $75,000 per year (perhaps less). I’m predicting federally funded abortions. I’m predicting federally funded stem cell research. I’m predicting carbon taxes, and higher gas taxes. I’m predicting Windfall Profits Taxes on American Oil Companies. I’m predicting no expanded offshore oil drilling and no new refineries. I’m predicting higher gas prices at the pump as a result of that. I’m predicting no new nuclear plants and the high carbon taxes on coal power will result in greatly increased electricity costs.
I’m predicting a lot of businesses going out of business. I’m predicting that Obama and Pelosi will NATIONALIZE others they don’t want to go out of business.
I’m predicting that Russia, Iran, North Korea, China … will all coordinate to simultaneously reduce American power overseas. I’m predicting that Obama will do little to stop them. i’m predicting that Israel … poor Israel … may not survive.
I’m predicting a new attack on the United States by terrorists abroad. I’m also predicting new terrorists attacks, like the one in Oklahoma City by … domestic “militia-type” terrorists – who will consider themselves “freedom fighters” against an oppressive “Ombama Government”.
I’m predicting that Americans will have to RE-DEFINE for the current generation – what FREEDOM is. We have to burn the whole system down – and then fight amongst ourselves on how to rebuild it. What is rebuilt … will either look like what our Founding Fathers intended for us, guarded for us, and passed down for us – or it will look ominously oppressive. It will depend on who has the guts to risk the most in the rebuilding.
WE NOW HAVE THE PRESIDENT WE DESERVE.
And, in the coming months – if you’re not happy with him – don’t blame Obama. Don’t blame the press either – even though they did precious little to “vet” this guy … even covering up for this guy.
No … Americans – the truth WAS out there. You just had to see it … and realize it. in the coming dark years – do not blame Obama …
