Is Palin Finished?

Governor Sarah Palin announced her resignation from the Alaska Governor’s mansion today … effective 26 July – when Lt. Governor Sean Parnell will take over …

The Liberals are celebrating – since their smear tactics seem to have worked on Palin (but only IF she’s going back into private life and disavowing a political future – and this isn’t really clear yet).

The Ayatollah’s in the Republican Party – are hopeful this is the end of her – but not all of them are convinced she’s done.  Exhibit A here – it’s Krauthammer … attempting to administer the death blow …

If Krauthammer really thought she was done – he’d have wished her well – maybe even used the opportunity to point out that the smear tactics of the left are taking good people out of politics and here’s another one.  If he’d thought she was “finished” – he could have also said – “sad to see we won’t see her running for President”.

But that’s not the tone the elites in the GOP have taken – they are now rushing into the street to administer death blows to Sarah Palin because they fear she’s resigning to make a serious run – and that possibility threatens the GOP elitist power base of the Ayatollahs of the party – like John Cornyn.

Let me say this – her career may be over.  She clearly states in her resignation speech that she’s now required to spend more time defending against ethics charges than she does actually running the affairs of Alaska as Governor.  This is not her fault – the charges are frivolous – every one of them has been defeated so far – but they keep coming at her non-stop.

So there’s a certain logic to … “Well, I can’t do anything for Alaska … and I’m getting nothing but killed by the media and the leftists … why bother anymore?”

If that’s the case … she’s leaving honorably.  I quite frankly SPIT on anyone who suggests she can’t “cut it” or is doing this for selfish reasons.  I spent the majority of my life in the military – and in the military – if you are a leader and become ineffective – you resign your leadership post.  It doesn’t matter if the reasons you’re ineffective are beyond your control.  It doesn’t matter if it’s someone else’s fault.  If you become in-effective – you think of the unit first – you resign your post and surrender your position to one who can be effective.

In this – I wholeheartedly identify with Governor Palin.  And those who can’t see this fact are woefully jaded to the traditional values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment.

There’s another possibility also …

That all of the above is true – but Sarah Palin IS NOT DONE WITH POLITICS.

She may have decided that the honorable thing to do was to resign – but to then take the battle to the bastards who’ve been hounding her.  She may be going into the next phase.

Whatever phase she’s going into above – I support her.  If she’s leaving politics – I understand.

But I’ll tell you this – this does nothing but steel my resolve to never vote for the GOP Ayatollah’s again – and I encourage all to do likewise.

The bottom line here is this – Sarah Palin was a Governor with an 80 percent plus approval rating, minding her own business in Alaska until she was asked to save the failing campaign of John McCain.  She jumped into the fight – and fought well.  For her effort – her family’s been dragged through the mud; $500,000 in debt defending frivolous legal charges; and the GOP Ayatollah’s have taken anonymous “pot shots” at her from the darkened shadows – because they don’t have the balls to lay it there with their face in the camera.  That’s cowardice sportsfans.  And I don’t care what you think of Sarah Palin – you have to agree that cowards don’t deserve our vote – even if they proclaim to be “Conservative”.

Sarah and Todd Palin made $150,000 total in 2006 between the two of them.  Many of us … with our spouses make more than that – I know my wife and I do.  This makes Sarah and Todd Palin Socio-Economic “Next Door Neighbors” with most of us out here.

And that’s one of the reasons the GOP Ayatollah’s want her gone – while they pander to us Walmart Folks.  While they pretend to be “one of us” … it’s just an act to gain a vote.  But for Sarah Palin – she’s the genuine article.  A Christian Woman, Pro-Life, Principled, Middle-Class, Smart – and NOT beholden to the Ayatollah’s.  That makes her a threat to the GOP – that’s why they’ve been shitting on her since the campaign in 2008 ended with a defeat for RINO Ayatollah McCain.

I have a message for the Ayatollahs.  If she’s still in politics – you’re screwed.  If she’s out – you’re still screwed.

Personally – I’ll go to the polls in 2012 and hold my nose and vote for Obama – then wait with my rifle for the apocolypse.  But I’m not voting for another Ayatollah.

My message to the Ayatollah’s – you’d better find a way to embrace Sarah Palin – if you can’t embrace her – then I know you can’t really embrace me and millions of others like her.

Mousavi’s Manifesto: “Hey Weren’t Things Great When Khomeini Was In Charge?”

More evidence that the Mousavi “Revolution” isn’t what others make it out to be …

In this “manifesto” … we see exactly what Mousavi’s motivation is.

Thirty years ago a revolution succeeded in our country in the name of Islam; a revolution for freedom, a revolution for the rekindling of the compassion of human beings, a revolution for truth and honesty. During this period, and especially during the life of our perspicacious Imam.

Of course – the Revolution that he is speaking so fondly of is the 1979 Islamic Revolution – which was wholly catalyzed by the movement’s strong anti-Americanism due to United States support of the Shah of Iran and our part in the 1953 coup that brought him to power. The “Imam” that Mousavi speaks of so lovingly is none other than Khomeini.

Now, let’s remember here – that even though the U.S. and Britain were principle “instigators” of the 1953 coup … the Muslim Clerics pretty much supported the overthrow of Mousaddeq because of his alliances with the Tudeh – the Iranian Communist Party – which the clerics saw as a bunch of Godless Infidels.

There has always been much indignation from the clerics concerning the 1953 coup – but the fact is they supported that coup and supported the Shah until 1963 when he announced that, as a part of his “White Revolution” – he would seek suffrage for women. That is when the split between the Shah and the clerics occurred and that is when this “wonderful” Ayatollah Khomeini (which Mousavi still speaks so lovingly of) – declared that the Shah had “Declared War on Islam” – by suggesting women should be allowed to vote. This is the heritage and history that Mousavi is embracing here.

An illumination, never experienced before, encompassed our society and people arrived at a new life that was sweet for them, in spite of most difficult hardships. I am confident that people who have seen those days will not consent to anything less.

This is the “compassionate” Mousavi – remembering the early years of the Islamic Republic – a time when he was the prime minister under Khomeini. A time when he and Khomeini hunted down and assasinated 144 enemies of the Islamic Republic in nations OUTSIDE of Iran. A time when he and Khomeini bombed the barracks in Beirut and killed 241 of AMERICAN MARINES. A time when Mousavi himself oversaw the elimination of 30,000 domestic political enemies of the Islamic Republic. These are the days that Mousavi wants to return to.

Such a fate will make two groups happy; one group being those who arrayed their troops against the Imam [Khomeini] from the beginning of the Revolution and assumed that the Islamic government is the same as Tyranny of the Rightful and, in their false surmise, want to bring people to Heaven by force, and the other group being those who, by claiming to defend the rights of the people, basically consider religion and Islam to be blockers for realization of republicanism.

Here is Mousavi stating clearly that he’s not on the side of any “Republican” who believes in separation of church and state. In fact – he holds them in high disregard. This is Mousavi showing his ignorance – because – in fact, Islam IS a “blocker” to republicanism. I’m not even sure Mousavi knows what “republicanism” is.

In the rest of this manifesto … Mousavi quotes Khomeini several times.

The ONLY thing this “manifesto” says – is basically this …

THE 1979 ISLAMIC REVOLUTION HAS BEEN STOLEN BY THOSE WHO REALLY DON’T CARE FOR ISLAM ANYMORE – WE NEED TO PUT IT BACK ON COURSE AND ENSURE THAT ISLAM IS THE FOREFRONT OF OUR PRINCIPLES.

The Mousavi Revolution is nothing more than a “reprise” of 1979. If my fellow Conservatives want to endorse that “revolution” as something “democratic” and “special” – if my fellow Conservatives want to compare this to our own amazing revolution in 1776. Go ahead. It’s foolish to do so though.

Others Who Agree … Hand’s Off Iran …

PatrickjbuchananContrary to what you’d see on most Conservative Blogs … not all Conservatives or people opposed to Obama’s policies are necessarily opposing him on his handling of Iran.  Although i believe that Obama’s approach to Iran right now is more a result of his naive view of the world than any true “strategery” on the part of himself or his administration – I do have to say that his approach is the right one – even it’s the product of ignorance and accident.  Others agree …

I’m not quite the fan of Pat Buchanan that I once was – but I remember that he was against the Iraq War initially (which I was for actually and I’m not the least bit remorseful about that).  Buchanan is kind of one of those “George Washington” types – you know – “avoid foriegn entanglements”, those kinds of things.  So I wondered if he had written anything on current events in Iran.

And sure enough … he has.

When your adversary is making a fool of himself, get out of the way. That is a rule of politics Lyndon Johnson once put into the most pungent of terms. U.S. fulminations will change nothing in Tehran. But they would enable the regime to divert attention to U.S. meddling in Iran’s affairs and portray the candidate robbed in this election, Mir-Hossein Mousavi, as a poodle of the Americans.

This is an absolutely correct point and, I might add – those Conservatives who think that America is responsible for this “so-called’ awakening of Iranians and that somehow Barack Obama can “usher” in change here faster for Iranians is pure and utter egotism.  It’s akin to the Global Warming alarmists who claim that humans are both the cause and solution to Global Warming.  And I might add here – that many debate if Global Warming is even really happening – just as many of us are debating if a “revolution” in Iran is really happening.

The bottom line is that the Islamofascists were swept into power by a popular revolution in 1979.  That revolution was against the United States as much as it was against the Shah of Iran.  HATRED FOR THE UNITED STATES was a primary “mover” for the revolutionaries which they exploited successfully and to the fullest extent.  It is unreasonable to believe that Iranian sentiment for the United States has reversed itself in only 30 years.  Of all the nations in the world capable of encouraging the Iranians – we should stand clear – because Buchanan is right – our support will be exploited by the Islamofascists AGAIN.  The last time – the Iranian people bought it – how many are up for another round of that?

Not me.

Let the Iranians be.

Buchanan isn’t alone … Henry Kissenger also supports the “hand’s off” approach …

Kissenger’s position is a mature and reasoned one.  It recognizes the reality that, for better or worse, American’s aren’t “loved” everywhere and sometimes our attempts to give “warm bear hugs” to people we find ourselves sympathizing with – sometimes those efforts are counter-productive or even repulsive to the one’s they’re aimed at.  If there is indeed an Iranian Revolution going on – here only 30 years after the last VIOLENT ANTI-AMERICAN one – then this revolution is about the Iranians – not Americans.

Buyer’s Remorse?

A few of my friends have Emailed me to ask – now that I’m officially an Iranian Revolution “hater” – am I a little bit saddened by the position I’ve taken seeing that so many Iranians are out in the streets … “fighting”.

Well – no … I feel no “buyer’s remorse” – not yet anyway.  I’m cantakerous – but I’ll admit when I’m wrong and I often – in cases like this one – actually HOPE that I am wrong.  I’d like to see the Iranians prove me wrong and overthrow the Islamic Republic and tear up that horrid Constitution and write a new one – one that would guarantee Iranians democratic rights that could not be infringed.  I hope that – because – if it happens – Israel will be secure.  If it happens – we can pretty much turn the lights off on the Global War on Terror and declare victory – because the biggest State sponsor of terror would be out of business.

God – yes – I hope I am wrong.

But I don’t think I am.

I’ll reiterate – unless we have SUBSTANTIVE CHANGE in Iran (read:  overthrow of the Islamic Republic) … then we are better off with Amadinnerjacket in the President’s seat and a population behind him that doesn’t trust him – and wants him gone.

Amadinner catalyzes and polorizes our allies like no other President could.  This idiot is so ugly, potty-mouthed, and downright … “hateable” that he actually does the job for us in getting our allies to side with us in meaningful actions against Iran’s nuclear program.

We can actually USE the hatred most Iranians feel toward Amadinner to get them to help US reel him in.  “Hey look – we LOVE Iranians and don’t want to nuke the country – but this Amadinner is WAAAAAY out of control!”  When we can say things like that – it polorizes the Iranians against him too – and they say … “Well yes, this guy is an assjacket … and he’s about to get us all killed!”  This causes more suspicion and unrest in Iran – and only an idiot wouldn’t watch his moves with the whole country gunning for him!

If Mousavi gets into office – the people will be united behind him – and therefore – they’ll be united behind his push for nuclear weapons.  That’s problematic for us.

So yeah – if all Iranians want to do is “win” this election – and they aren’t willing to tell the Supreme Leader to go to hell and re-write the Constitution – then all this is just working at the fringes of a fatally flawed system.  And it’s in our best national interests to stay out of this – and let Amadinner flog his people in peace.

What To Do About Iran Now …

ayatollah_ali_khameneiIt doesn’t take much to get we Conservatives excited – and certainly, any remote possibility to watch the Iranian Islamic Republic get overthrown is grounds for us to get downright bat shit crazy with excitement.  But what is reality here?

Without even looking at Iran we know that contemporary Democratic processes aren’t always what they’re cracked up to be.  There was a day when the words “Freedom and Democracy” and the movements associated with them meant something.  That day is passed and today – Democratic movements are often exploited by authoritarian ones.  And even though it sounds “tin foil” … I’ll argue that the U.S. government, under Democratic control – is becoming a “Managed Democracy”.   That’s another topic though.

But we can certainly conclude here that Democratic movements don’t always produce Democratic outcomes.  The Russian Democratic movement produced an authoritarian government in Moscow.  The Venezuelan Democratic movement produced an authoritarian government – in fact, this notion of Democratic authoritarianism runs rampant throughout Central America.  And in the middle east – Palestinian Democracy produced Hamas.

Iran has been a “managed” authoritarian Democracy for over 30 years now.  In light of this – shouldn’t we be supporting the folks in the streets who are backing Mousavi … the … “reformist”?

In one word … NO.

Who is Mir Hossein Mousavi?

Well, uhm … he’s an original participating member of the Islamic Revolution of 1979 and a founding member of the Islamic Republic Party.  Mousavi himself claimed to the New York Times in 1981 that he went to the Untited States in the late 70’s to organize resistance against the Shah.  He was a key player in the revolution – so much so – that he was rewarded with the Prime Ministership of Iran for most of the 80’s.  His accomplishments during that tenure?  Well, not a lot of “reforming” – but he can claim 144 extraterritorial assassinations during the premiership, the massacre of nearly 30,000 political prisoners on the eve of the signing of the 1988 UN Iran-Iraq cease-fire accord, and the 1983 embassy and marine barrack bombings in Beirut.

That’s right sportsfans and lovers of democratic movements – Mousavi was involved in the killing of U.S. Marines in Beirut.  This is the same Mousavi that Conservatives like Bill Krystal are urging us to support.

My friends – Mousavi’s previous life as a tyrant of the Islamic Republic alone should disqualify him from our affections.  No offense to the average Iranian in the streets supporting him – but Iranians are known for being “duped” by their political class and jumping on the wrong bandwagons.  Mousavi is no “reformer”.

Important to note here – that in Iran – all candidates for the office of President have to be cleared and approved by the Supreme Leader in order to have their names on the ballots.  Let’s be clear here – the Supreme Leader isn’t going to allow a real “reformer” to BE on the ballot – everyone on that ballot is someone he feels he can work with – at least in a pinch.

Oh and, by the way … here’s a picture of the Supreme Leader visiting Mousavi’s ailing father … taken about a month ago.

Does this look like a photo of two people who hate each other?  It shouldn’t – both of these men were allies in the Islamic Revolution.  Both of them played an instrumental and cooperative role in eliminating the Shah’s political allies (or those they perceived to be his allies).

So why doesn’t the Supreme Leader just allow Mousavi to become the President?  Well – let’s first note that we’re ASSUMING that Mousavi won the election – when no real evidence has been presented that he did.  If indeed Amadinnerjacket won the race – perhaps Mr. Supremo is simply playing the “Guardian” of the few democratic principles the Islamic Republic allows.  It’s possible.

It’s possible the Revolutionary Guard like Amadinnerjacket so much – they went out and “fixed” the election for him once they realized he wasn’t going to win.  Maybe they didn’t complain enough in the beginning when Mr. Supremo was “screening” the candidates and allowed Mr. Mousavi to run.  Or maybe they thought Amadinnerjacket could beat Mousavi in an honest race – then realized otherwise.  Whatever … but the fact that Mousavi was on the ballot means that Mr. Supremo, at the very least – was willing to work with him if he got elected.

Things have changed a bit now – and I suspect Mousavi’s open disrespect in the wake of the election have caused more than a few government insiders to take a decidedly more negative view of him.  However – if the Islamic Revolutionary Guard can’t put this thing back together – I expect that Mr. Supremo will magically “find” enough votes to install Mr. Mousavi as President afterall.

And in that case – Mousavi will be a good little President for the Supreme Leader and the Revolutionary Guard – the same way that Mohammad Khatami and Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, two previous “reformist” Presidents were.

If he isn’t – then Mr. Mousavi will be “assasinated” in what will be described by the Revolutionary Guard as a “Zionist Plot” – or he’ll meet some other untimely misfortune.

And this is the way the Islamic Republic of Iran works.

Now to specific points – made by fellow Conservatives …

1.  We need to support the protestors – regime change in Iran is the only way we can save Israel by keeping nuclear weapons out of the hands of the Iranians.

This is partially true – “regime change” does offer us a chance to keep nukes out of the hands of the Iranians – but the protestors aren’t calling for regime change.  Oh sure – you can find a couple in the streets with cellphones that will TELL YOU they want regime change – but the fact is – Mousavi supports the regime 100 percent.   Mousavi is only asking for the seat that he thinks he rightfully won in the election.  Remember – Mousavi has almost his entire life invested in the Islamic Revolution – he’s not giving that up folks.  If you’re looking for regime change – this isn’t it.

2.  Who cares?  We need to keep Iran from getting nukes and Mousavi will be easier to work with to that end than Amadinnerjacket!

Uhm – no he won’t.  First – it’s the Supreme Leader that makes ALL decisions concerning the current push to nuclear arm Iran.  Amadinnerjacket is simply a foul-mouthed mouthpiece for the Supreme Leader.  If Mousavi is elected – there is no change here except for the fact that Mousavi will support nuclearization without being as foul-mouthed about it.  In this circumstance – this actually argues that we should support Amadinnerjacket because he’s disliked and generally perceived as a mad man by our allies – the ones we need to hold tight sanctions on Iran.  Put a nice looking and well-spoken old man like Mousavi in the office – and our allies may go a bit weak in the knees.  Amadinnerjacket polorizes our allies against Iran – and that’s a good thing.  All things being equal … I’d rather have Amadinnerjacket for this very reason.

The above are the two main (most lucid) reasons I see Conservatives citing as reasons we need to support the protesters.  But as I’ve outlined – they are still impossible fantasies.

I’d like to take a detour here and remember the fact that Iran, under the Shah – was a well respected nation worldwide.  Itw as seen as a stabile, modern, pro-western nation.  The U.S. trained many of the Shah’s fighter pilots.  We sold the Shah our most advanced aircraft and ships.  Women in Iran were not required to “cover” themselves – the people had a great deal of freedom – as long as they didn’t challenge the Shah’s authority too much.  The Shah was hard on his political enemies – but not at all on your average Iranian citizen.  And – even so – eventually the Iranians could have navigated their way to more democracy under the Shah – but they chose a different path.

They chose … ISLAMIC REVOLUTION.  It was not thrust upon them.  Most governments in the middle east forced themselves on their populations but not in the case of the Islamic Republic of Iran.  The Islamic Republic was pretty much endorsed by the majority of the Iranian people.  They chose this form of government.

A lot of people say – that was 30 years ago – and the kids in the streets today feel differently.  If that were true they should drag their parents into the streets and make them fix what they broke – 30 years ago, and not look to America to solve their problem.  However – the fact is the kids in the street don’t like Israel and they support the nuclearization of Iran.  They are in the streets for selfish reasons only – they want more liberty for themselves, even though they have no problem with driving Jews into the sea in Israel.

Whatever – but we should not help them in this endeavor.

What then should we do?

We need to encourage both sides to slaughter each other.  The fact is – there are people in Iran that DO want regime change but no one is going to listen to them until they’ve seen the Clerics do their “worst”.  Only then – will Iranians abandon their notions of “reforming” the Islamic Republic and shift gears into OVERTHROWING it.

The U.S. should recognize (officially) that the Iranian Islamic Constitution is fatally flawed and … of course … difficulties like the current one are going to arise.  We should announce that we stand with the Iranian people for regime change – if that is what they wish – but we’re not going to get involved in fixing a car that’s beyond economical repair – which is analogous to the current Iranian Constitution.  Obama should announce that, even as broke as we are we’re still willing to give financial aid and support to any NEW Iranian regime – but we’ll not give one penny nor show support for any regime that resembles the current managed authoritarian democracy that governs Iran – and that goes for whether or not Amadinnerjacket or Mousavi occupies the Presidency.

Lastly – here’s a good article at about.com that details the life and times of Mousavi. Pay close attention to his anti-american views … expressed in his own words.  Then decide for yourself if you think this man is the answer to Iran’s problems.

Never blindly support those who argue for “Democracy” – they are very often Trojan Horses.

Falling Into Marxism …

karl-marx

An interesting article from Pravda.

A couple of observations … first of all – it’s kind of funny that Pravda is still unable to report on a point without some inflection of Russian propaganda.  Even after all these years …

Second … propaganda exploits aside – they’re dead on correct in their description of Americans …

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy”. Pride blind the foolish.

Cant say it much clearer that.

And they end with a prediction …

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

Unfortunately – I believe that Pravda … has it right.

John Bolton Calls it Right (Again) …

North Korea tested another nuclear device last night …

And … a missile.

And the “Child God” Barack Obama – leader and Commander and Chief of the greatest SuperPower on Earth – is caught completely by surprise by this.

But the reviled, evil Sith warrior of the Bush administration … I’m talking about JOHN BOLTONpredicted this only five days ago.

The curtain is about to rise again on the long-running nuclear tragicomedy, “North Korea Outwits the United States.” Despite Kim Jong Il’s explicit threats of another nuclear test, U.S. Special Envoy Stephen Bosworth said last week that the Obama administration is “relatively relaxed” and that “there is not a sense of crisis.” They’re certainly smiling in Pyongyang.

I’ll just say this …

John Bolton is HATED in Liberal circles.

But he was right this time and predicted something the Obama administration … the “enlightened” and “all-knowing” Obama administration – did not.

Nuff said. As far as who we should be listening to with respects to how to make the world more safe – it appears the old Bush crowd has better intelligence on this than our “Dear Leader” Obama.

The headline in North Korea today?

“OBAMA … PUNKED!”

Why We Need to Take Time Out to Thump the NRSC …

John CornynThe NRSC … National Republican Senatorial Committee.

When it comes to Repubicans … the NRSC are the elite.  They’re basically the Republican Senate Caucus and their purpose vis-a-vis this organization is to elect REPUBLICANS to the U.S. Senate.

The leader of the NRSC is Senator John Cornyn … U.S. Senator from Texas.

How “out of touch” are these guys?  Well … uhm … here’s their endorsement of Senator Arlen Spector not even 4 weeks before he defected to the Democratic Socialist party.
Here’s a nice line out of Cornyn’s endorsement for Specter …

My job as head of the NRSC is to guide the GOP back to a majority in the Senate.

It’s clear that Cornyn considers it “his job” to get Republicans elected to the Senate – come hell or high water and political philosophies be damned. But just who ELECTED John Cornyn to do this job?

Not you or I. He was elected by the elites in the Senate. The same out of touch elites that “guided” the GOP into the abyss last year.

Now … this might be different if the NRSC were SMART – but they aren’t. You can look at their endorsement of Arlen Specter that happened about a month ago – now you can go to their website where you’ll be greeted by a “pop-up” that basically says “We’ve been hoodwinked by Specter! Help Us Kick his ass!” And if you give money to these dip-shits then you are really, I mean really, a hurting unit. I fully realize that the value of the dollar has decreased lately but why not just go out and make a nice warm fire to burn your dollars in rather than wasting it on these fools in the NRSC?

NEXT NRSC FIASCO … AND THIS IS WHY THEY DESERVE A GOOD OLD FASHIONED REDNECK ASS WHIPPING …

Senator Mel Martinez of Florida is retiring from the Senate next year.

Let’s cut from this Florida Senate seat for a moment and talk about the Florida Governor.  The current Governor, Charlie Christ is fairly popular in Florida – and he can run for another term, which he would win comfortably – thereby keeping the Governor’s mansion in Florida RED.

But see – being the “team player” that Charlie Crist is – he decided not to do that – and instead opted to oppose up-and-coming Conservative Republican MARCO RUBIO for Mel Martinez’s Senate seat.  This “heroic” decision by Crist actually places the Florida Governorship in jeopardy of falling to the Democrats next year.  Wonderful.

Who is Marco Rubio?  Well … here he is …

Here’s some more …

Marco Rubio is a Cuban American – and he’s the kind of Conservative that WE like.  He’s not at all happy with the Obama spending spree that’s been going on because he knows your children and mine will have to pay for it.

But … let’s give some equal time to Charlie Crist here – what does he think about the spending …

If you got passed the part where he said that Obama was “Very Impressive” without throwing up a little in your mouth – you’ve got a better stomach than me.

Charlie Crist is a self-serving member of the POLITICAL ESTABLISHMENT OF THE GOP.  It’s his leadership – along with the others – that got us into the hole we’re in today.

So … who did the NRSC endorse between RUBIO and CRIST?

Why … Crist of course.

Everyone should have a serious problem with the fact that the NRSC is getting involved to “pick” a Republican winner here – when that job SHOULD BELONG to Florida Republican voters.  Hey – if the Republican voters in Florida want Crist – I’m all for it – but the voters should decide.

The fact that NRSC feels a need to endorse anyone at this point – fully 15 months before the election – is because they don’t think the voters of Florida can pick the right man.

And if that thought doesn’t outrage you enough … look at this quote from Cornyn on Rubio …

“While I believe Marco Rubio has a very bright future within the Republican Party, Charlie Crist is the best candidate in 2010 to ensure that we maintain the checks and balances that Floridians deserve in the United States Senate.

Just how damned arrogant is that?  The GREAT JOHN CORNYN … pats little Marco Rubio on the head and says – “It’s okay son – stick around awhile and we’ll throw ya a bone – now get back to cleanin’ there son!”

Complete – and UTTER Garbage.

If you’re as outraged as I am … do the following …

1.  Send a message to your Republican representatives in the Senate – and if both your Senators are Democrats – send the message to your GOP Representative if you have one.  Tell them that you’re outraged at the NRSC’s actions.  Tell them that the NRSC should be helping Republicans defeat Democrats and not helping Republicans beat other Republicans.  Tell them that – we may have a big party – but the fact that the voters pick the nominees is not a topic of compromise.

2.  In that message – tell them that you will no longer send $$ to the GOP or to the NRSC – because they can’t be trusted with the money.  Tell them that from now on you’ll invest your own money in the candidates that appeal to you.  And that you’ll eliminate the GOP and the NRSC as a “middleman”.

3.  Then go here … and give Marco Rubio a donation. You can give as little as $10 dollars.

4.  Then go to John Cornyn’s website.

John Cornyn has “outed” himself as a GOP elitist that is in this fight … not for you or me … not for our children’s future – but in it for HIS OWN GAIN.  He’s a professional politician and he’s trying to shove his view of the GOP down your throat.  He’s endorsed Charley Crist – an Obama-loving elitist for Senate.

And the fact is – an elitist is one thing – but in Cornyn’s case he’s not really an elitist because he isn’t very smart.  Elitists are supposed to be smart.  Smart people don’t endorse Arlen Specter for Senate on the eve of his defection to the Democratic party.

We’ve got to stamp this one out folks.  Elect Marco Rubio to the Senate – then insist that John Cornyn be FIRED as the head of the NRSC and replaced with Rubio.

That’s sweet justice.

Why Dick Cheney Speaks …

Obama, the Democrats, and their propagandists in the Liberal Drive-By Media want to know the answer to this question …

“Why is Dick Cheney talking?”

Isn’t Dick Cheney violating convention as a former Vice President when he comes out swinging at the current “President”?

Sure he is, and Cheney wouldn’t be doing this at all except for one fact …

Obama DID NOT STOP slamming the Bush administration after he took the oath of office.

Campaign rhetoric is one thing – but after you’ve won – you’re supposed to have at least a public “respect” for the former administration.  Obama, however, has handled things horribly – and like a little child who’s been playing with matches – he now has a clueless look on his face as to how that activity caused the house to burn down.

He’s an idiot – Obama is a complete idiot.

For instance – if he wanted to close GITMO – all he needs to say is this …

“Today, I’m announcing my intention to close GITMO.  I realize the former administration opened it, and I realize they had only the best interests of the nation’s security at heart when they did it.  However, I have a different view.  I respect the views of the former administration – but I believe we can be safe without it.”

That’s all he had to say and, if he’d said that – Dick Cheney would have remained in Wyoming enjoying retirement.

Instead – Obama chose to demonize the Bush administration.  He didn’t just have a “difference of opinion” – he had to “opine” on subjects such as “losing their moral bearings”.  He had to open the can of worms of placing Bush administration officials on trial for waterboarding.

Play with matches and …

Eventually you get a firey Dick Cheney on your six – and, predictably – Dick Cheney is now in his six.  What a fool Obama is – he just thinks he can sit behind the Presidential seal and call the former administration “war criminals” – and he just expects they won’t eventually fight back?

It’s not the first time Obami has done this.

He was the one that demonized the AIG executives for taking their legally earned bonuses – but that contoversy grew into a huge food fight that he regretted – and he had to spend a lot of time stuffing that pandora back into the box.

But that one was easy compared to DICK CHENEY.  Dick Cheney has very low approval ratings – but they are on the rise now that he’s speaking out.  And DICK CHENEY doesn’t care about who disapproves of him – he’ll tell the truth no matter who has a problem with it.  The only thing that will stop DICK CHENEY is a heart attack.

Enjoy you Dick there Obama – you’re the one that released him.

And Down the “Rabbit Hole” We Go …

When the United States defeated the Confederate States of America in the Civil War … the President of the Confederate States, Jefferson Davis, was jailed for a time after the war.  He was soon indicted for treason and there were cries in the North to put him on trial.  Yet, after two years of imprisonment – Davis was released on bail and all charges against him eventually dropped.

Why?

Because the Republican controlled U.S. Government was smarter, politically, than Barack Obama and his leftist Democrats.

Davis was a defeated President of a now defunct government – he was little harm to the United States.  The question of secession – had been settled in the North’s favor by force of arms.  They were not interested in reopening the argument in a court of law which would give Davis a forum to redeem the notion that States had a right to secede and that,  in fact, it was the United States that had betrayed the Constitution – and not the Confederate States.

But Obama and the Democrats aren’t that smart.  For years they ran around screaming demagogic about how Bush was a war criminal.  They whipped their base into a lather with these accusations against Bush – and they were very effective in doing so.  Not content with simply winning an election – they have kept Bush in the forefront and besmirched and accused him at every opportunity.

This has had one result – to cause the base to SCREAM for trials of Bush Administration officials.

And I have constantly DARED them to do so.  Jefferson Davis was not happy that he wasn’t tried for treason – he really wanted a chance to defend secession in a court of law.  For these same reasons – Conservatives should welcome an investigation into the Bush Administration – a fair, and open investigation.

We’ll win.  And – we will win it tremendously.

Obama knows this now – and that is why he’s trying to take the steam out of this push for investigations.  He’s stated that he wants to “look forward” not “backward”.  His justice department says now they won’t prosecute the Bush lawyers who ruled that waterboarding did not constitute torture.

But his “nutroots” won’t let go of the issue and today … Nancy Pelosi herself upped the ante by accusing the CIA of lying to her and other members of Congress.

Let me tell you – she has now made an outrageous allegation against the CIA and it’s GAME ON – because the CIA won’t back down no matter who’s running it.  This is about to get dirty folks and guess what – Nancy Pelosi is not smart enough to get out of it.

The nutroots will now call for investigations more than ever.  The problem is – unless the investigations are “rigged” … then a lot of Democrats are going to get caught up in the net.  If the investigations are rigged – then it’s going to be obvious to Americans that the Democrats are the worst form of hypocrites.

At the end of this road – the Bush administration is vindicated and that will be quite the accomplishment – because we’ll have Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama to thank for it.  Bush Derangement Syndrome was such a fertile card – they played it at every opportunity – but they have just played it one hand too many.

As Charles Krauthammer says … “These are the wages of demagoguery”.
