The Solution for the Tea Party in the current debt debacle.

Barack Obama voted against a raise in the debt ceiling. Why is John McCain saying that the “hobbits” don’t have a right to?

Look – this is easy. Here’s the facts …

1. The RINO establishment which rules the GOP doesn’t have the guts to fight an increase in the debt ceiling.

2. In the end – the RINO establishment will go along with ANY plan the Dims hand them – because, they don’t want to be “blamed” for the default.

3. The Tea Party shouldn’t be forced to make a vote against it’s principles. They have done nothing wrong – they were elected on those principles and they should stand by them.

4.  It’s the RINO establishment and Dimmocrits who are “married” to the idea of increasing debt – not the tea party.  The Tea Party realizes that we won’t default on debt unless Obama chooses to do it – most Tea Party folk I talk with say … “Don’t raise the debt limit”.  Since this is true – shouldn’t it be the RINO’s and the DIM’s raising the debt ceiling – since they are the only ones who are excited to do so?

If Barack Obama had a right to vote against the last debt ceiling increase when Bush was President – the Tea Party freshmen have a right to vote against this one. Given those facts – the road ahead is clear.

The Tea Party can’t win this fight – because the establishment GOP is too lilly-livered and they’ll hike their asses in the air and shout “giveittome” faster than a donut runs from Rosanne Barr. So … the solution …

Tell Mitch McConnell and Boehner that the Tea Party won’t vote for a debt ceiling increase at all. This forces the RINO’s to conspire with the DIMS to make a highly LEFTIST bill that can be passed by RINO’s and Dims.

Tea Party stays true to it’s ideals.

And we get the RINO’s on record for Sarah Palin’s next “target” map.

Easy enough!

How to Answer the BIG Question for Tea Party Folk …

I just watched Shep Smith cruicify a new Tea Party Congressman on the question … “So you want to cut government spending – what are you going to cut?  Social Security?  Medicare? Both?  How you gonna cut ‘em?”

The Tea Party Congressman basically said he wouldn’t cut any of those – but find other places in the budget to cut.  Of course – Shep killed on this point – because everything else you wanna cut is really “peanuts” …

So here’s MY ANSWER to the “What are you going to cut?” question …

It’s a SEVEN STEP program …

We’re going to have to cut some stuff – but we’re REALLY going to do is a “BUY BACK” from the American people – and here’s how it works …

(First – you don’t even talk about cuts to SS and Medicare …)

STEP ONE:  CUT ALL THE BULLSHIT FIRST - and the list is long.  Cut NPR, PBS, Cut NASA funding for Mohammedan “self esteem building – cut the NEA, end embryonic stem cell research – end all federally subsidized research.  Cut the United Nations – ensure our contributions match those of France (and encourage the UN to move somewhere else for a change of scenery).  Cut welfare – entirely, let the states handle that.

STEP TWO:  READ THE 10TH AMENDMENT – then look at the federal budget – cut everything that you can’t make a reasonable 10th amendment argument to keep.  Department of Education – GONE!  ATF – GONE! (Seriousy – what do they do that shouldn’t be done by the states?).  IRS – MOSTLY GONE!  (more on this later).  The goal here is reduce the Federal Government to a shell of it’s former self.  If you’re not FEARFUL at the end that you cut dreadfully too much – then you didn’t cut enough.

STEP THREE:  Implement a FLAT TAX - this is a great gift to Americans and will help you get rid of 95% of the IRS.  The IRS should be a little office in Washington, DC – staffed by very old military retirees who sit around most of the day telling war stories – it really should be that simple.  Also – since we don’t have a complicated Federal Government anymore – we don’t need lifetime lawmakers – implement TERM LIMITS.

STEP FOUR:  GO BACK THROUGH THE FIRST THREE STEPS AND LOOK FOR MORE THINGS TO CUT. If the states can do it – get rid of it.  By now you have a government that is a shell of it’s former size – and Americans no longer have the “FEDS” breathing down their backs in any way, shape or form.

STEP FIVE:  SECURE THE BORDERS AND DEPORT ILLEGALS. Border security comes first – and it must be AIR TIGHT.  If you want a “comprehensive” solution to immigration then go for it – but only after the borders are secure.

STEP SIX:  LOOK AND SEE HOW MUCH $$ WE NOW HAVE TO PAY THE “BIG” ENTITLEMENTS LIKE SS AND MEDICARE. Sit down – and come up with a fix.  It may take raising the retirement age – it may take reducing benefits – it may take a certain amount of privatization – whatever, at this point you know you’re not spending money on bullshit so you have a lot more options on what you can do with these entitlements.

STEP SEVEN:  GO TO AMERICANS AND SAY – “WE’VE GIVEN YOU YOUR LIBERTY BACK – IN ORDER TO KEEP IT, AND PASS IT ON TO YOUR KIDS – THIS IS WHAT WE’D LIKE YOU TO DO”. Sell them the program based on the fact that you’ve given them their nation back – in wonderful condition and in a state they can be proud to pass on to their children.

 

Honest to GOD folks – as a military retiree – I’ll sacrifice every cent of my retirement pension for a deal like this.  Hell – I would consider this a “pennies on the dollar” purchase for the welfare of my kids, and grandkids.

It’s really simple – you CAN cut entitlements – you can cut any entitlement – but you have to GIVE Americans something they want in return for them!

Another Reason Why Mohammedanism Is A Joke.

Returning from Norway via Newark, NJ – and getting ready to board a plane for home, I saw …

An Islamic man with his son.  The man and boy were both dressed in jeans and Abercrombie and Fitch shirts – and were busy typing into their Iphones.

Behind these two rather “Western” individuals, was the “mother” of the family and she was dressed in a full length, jet black  burka – not a shard of flesh visible save for her eyballs which peaked out of a 1/2 inch slit in her “veil”.

Which is another reason why Mohammedanism is a joke.  The religion really only applies to the female members – while the males get to enjoy the modern life with all it’s conveniences and fashion style.

Also – question …

How are the identities of Mohammedan women verified by airport security staff when they are wearing these “veils”?

Also, does this mean it’s okay for ME to wear a veil that covers my head and, essentially my identity, in airports?

Mohammedan men are pathetic fools.

And I really don’t know what to say about Mohammedan women – who follow these fools.

 

 

UnGovernable

There seems to be a lot of excitement in the circles I run in about the possibility that the Republican party will retake, at least, the House of Representatives this November.  A “Grand Slam” could theoretically happen if the GOP takes the Senate too – and wouldn’t that be awesome?

Well, to be sure, we NEED for the GOP to retake Congress … it’s necessary to prevent any further damage done to this nation by Barack Obama but …

Even a stunning GOP victory is not going to save this nation.

This nation is plagued with a hardcore debt and entitlements problem that requires – not only a long line of “golden lawmakers” who are willing to make the tough cuts that are necessary – but also an American public that is willing to go along with those cuts.

And … the fact is – we don’t have either of those and we aren’t likely to get either of those.

When I was a young submariner working in the navigation department of a nuclear submarine – I learned very quickly that, once you discover that the ship is off course – you need to immediately take steps to get it back on course.  If you identify the problem early – you only need to make a small adjustment to the ship’s heading to get back on track.  However, if you wait too long – then a radical adjustment of the ship’s head is required to repair the situation.

“Radical” adjustments, to anything, are problematic though.  They cause stress on the system and they cause stress and doubt, and infighting among those who “run” and “oversee” the system.

This nation is at the point of “radical” adjustment to repair the current debt and entitlement crisis we now face, and I really don’t think we can turn this ship around that much without some, incredibly catalyzing event that brings all Americans together through sheer desperation and determination.

It takes a huge emergency to get an empire, such as ours is, to make radical adjustments.  We have had an economic “emergency” and we are still in the midst of that emergency – but it’s not deep enough to stimulate the actions necessary to force us to make the tough decisions.

We have not hit rock bottom.  Rock bottom looks like ballooning inflation caused by debt monetization and rapidly falling quality of life for Americans – and we aren’t there yet.  Rock bottom looks like people on all sides in the streets throwing rocks because they’ve either lost their pensions – or they’re not worth much anymore.

And – there’s no guarantee that what emerges from “rock bottom” will be an “elegant” solution that keeps tradition with the Constitution and the historical views Americans have held toward liberty.  What emerges from “rock bottom” is the strongest solution and, that could very well be some form of tyrannical system.  In fact, throughout history – in many cases that is exactly what happened … chaos being replaced by “order” … “tyrannical” order.

So why can’t we all just “come together” and solve the problems we face in a logical, orderly manner?

It’s very simple …

The political spectrum is divided among factions that seek to force their ideology on others … or, failing that – seeing the whole system collapse so it can be rebuilt to conform to their ideological desires.

Conservatives, by allying with grassroots Americans … have managed to STOP the Socialistic change that Barack Obama has been trying to make.  He managed to accomplish a lot – but his agenda, from here on out – is pretty much toast.  He’s going to be fighting a running battle with a re-surging Republican party from now until the end of his Presidency.

That’s good news – but … what’s not good news is the fact that Conservatives used the same tactics to destroy the Democrats that the Democrats used to destroy the Republicans in 2006 and 2008.

Both sides know the game – they know how to fight from a minority position to stop the agenda of the majority.  It’s a form of political “guerilla warfare” and both parties know how to do it well.

When (if) the Republicans get power – they will be stopped from making the radical changes necessary to save this nation as we currently know it.  The left will ensure this.

For instance – as soon as the Republicans attempt to reform Medicare and Social Security they will be immediately labeled “radicals” who want to take benefits from senior citizens.  Senior citizens will buy into this line (they always have), that they are going to lose their benefits.  They will always buy into this line until those benefits have eroded to the point that they aren’t worth anything.

That’s just ONE example.

That’s why I think this nation has become “UnGovernable” – our Federal government is unable to make the changes it needs to make to put this nation back on track.

And … in reality – the “Founders” predicted this in the Constitution – which is why they greatly curtailed the power of the Federal government in that document.  The Founders knew that the United States was a diverse nation and people in different regions and states would seek to enforce their ideas of government on those in other regions and states.  The Founders knew that those individuals would do this by seizing the power of the Federal government in order to force their will on others.  This is why the Founders LIMITED … some say “severely” … the power of the Federal government.

But the restraints imposed on the Federal government by the Founders, though still present in writing, have been untied by two centuries of activist court decisions and un-constitutional laws.  The situation now exists whereby a political faction can gain control of the government and enact devastating changes at local and state levels – and that was NEVER intended by the Founders.

But … at the same time … as the Federal Government becomes more powerful – it experiences more “pushback” from it’s citizens.  That fact shines a strong light on the LIBERAL folly – and their belief that they can get Southern Baptists in South Louisiana to accept Homosexual Marriage and federal funding for abortion simply by passing laws.

No … it doesn’t work that way Liberals.  You have two choices – you can either convince us that we need those things – or you can force us to accept them at the point of a gun.  Or … you can simply give up the folly and accept the fact that every man and woman has a right to their own opinion on the issues – and deserve to govern themselves based on those opinions within their own political spheres.

This is why the nation has become UNGOVERNABLE.  A GOP victory in November is a good, and necessary thing.  However – it will not solve our problems until we reach “rock bottom”.

And … God Bless us when we reach that point – we will need his blessing then more than any other time in our history.

I think that, once we reach “rock bottom” … Conservative, Liberty Movement folks have an advantage.  While the left has nothing but stifling, enforced Socialism to offer to ALL citizens – we have the option of CHOICE – the way the Founders envisioned.

For instance, a liberal hates transfats and cigarettes will gladly approve of laws that eliminate transfats and cigarettes  in all 50 states.  This is their ideology – to enforce what they consider to be acceptable conduct on others.

But Conservatives are exactly opposite.  They may think that banning transfats and cigarettes is stupid – but they won’t seek to stop Californians from doing it within the boundaries of California.  Case in point – can you name any Louisianan who’s working to FORCE California to do more offshore oil drilling?

Now – flip that over – can you think of any liberal organizations based in California who are trying to STOP offshore drilling in Louisiana?  Sure … you certainly can!

Conservatives in Mississippi or Louisiana don’t have a problem with California or any other liberal state using state taxpayer dollars to fund embryonic stem cell research – since they don’t live in California or those other liberal states, they don’t have a dog in the hunt.  Conversely however, those liberal states are still fighting to use federal money from ALL states to fund embryonic stem cell research.

So when “rock bottom” hits – Conservatives have a strong position, one that is attractive to the majority – because we can accept liberalism or conservatism based on what a local population wants as it’s guiding ideology.  That is not true with liberal ideology – which insists on a homogenized philosophy and governance throughout all states.

The Ground Zero Mosque …

The Cat’s out of the bag on this one … the city council (or whoever the governing body for this is), didn’t do their job – so now this has become a highly politicized issue.

Look, here’s the deal – just because it’s Constitutional – doesn’t make it a good idea.  One of the things we PAY our elected leaders to do is to screen out and “handle” stupid ideas.  It’s undebatably stupid to put a Mosque at this location.  Elected leaders should have recognized this early on and kicked in their “bureaucratic stonewall” mechanism.  There’s a plethora of legitimate reasons this Mosque could have been turned down – without even mentioning religion or tolerance.  Hell, I have a shed behind my house that the city keeps finding reasons why I can’t put electrical power to it – and the elected leaders of NYC could have done the same here.

I’ll ask this …

Does a Klansman have the right to set up a soap box in the middle of Harlem and spew his racial hatred of blacks through a megaphone while standing on it?

Why sure … he absolutely does – strictly speaking that is – in accordance with the Constitution.

Now … if someone came by and beat the hell out of the guy – would we be that upset that Mr. Klansman’s freedom of speech was violated?  Why … no, we wouldn’t.

The “John Wayne Rule” kicks in here …

“Life’s Tough … It’s Tougher if You’re Stupid”.

It’s no different here.  Were I the President of the City Council here, I’d have thrown up one roadblock after another to slow down or keep this very stupid idea of a GROUND ZERO MOSQUE from ever happening.  I’d have done that for the men and women who sacrificed their lives on 9-11 and their families.

And I would have slept well at night knowing that I could have defended my actions – even to George Washington himself.  In fact, were George Washington alive today – he’d have done exactly what I’ve recommended here.

Well … now the Mohammedans will get their “Ground Zero Mosque” but …

We Conservatives will get the issue – and another log of enthusiasm thrown on the GOP fire which will consume Democrats in November.

What The Democrats Are Missing …

The reason that Republicans are UP in the polls and positioned to make huge gains in Congress this November is NOT because Americans have suddenly fallen in love with the GOP.  Not at all.

The real reason the GOP’s stock is soaring right now is … Americans are deathly afraid of the direction Barack Obama is taking this nation and, since the moderates in his party won’t put a leash on him – the American voters are going to send a wave of Republicans to Washington, DC in order to stop this nation’s slide into communalism.

Sooo … Obama can talk about how bad the Republicans are … Americans don’t care – because the GOP is the only hope they have of stopping the Obama agenda.

And Democratic “strategists” can point out that the GOP is the “Party of NO” … but that is PRECISELY what Americans want the most from the GOP right now.  They want the Republicans saying “NO!” to the Obama agenda.  In fact, every time a Democratic pundit uses the term “Party of ‘NO’” … they remind Americans of the primary reason they need to show up in November and vote Republican.

I’m not spinning here, this is honest truth.

I wish it were otherwise.  The fact is, Americans are going to go to the polls in November to vote AGAINST Obama and the Democrats.  They aren’t going there to vote FOR the GOP.

So don’t sweat the Democratic rhetoric.  They’re going to turn up the volume – and get a lot nastier but the fact is – they are only going to inspire more voters to go to the polls and vote against them.

The only chance the Democrats have is to convince the American voter that they are worthy of remaining the only party in Washington, DC.

With 10 percent unemployment, a stagnant economy, tax increases on the way, a culture of corruption on the hill, arrogant lawmakers who won’t listen to their constituents, and the real possibility of a “double dip” recession …

I don’t think the Democrats will be able to make that case in less than 100 days.  Sorry.

I used to think that the GOP would find a way to “screw up” their lead – and grab defeat from the jaws of victory …

But I now believe that won’t happen – because the election isn’t about the GOP.

It’s about ending one-party rule using monkeys, priests, midgets, or …

Republicans.

Mittens is NOT the One Folks … Sorry.

All kinds of polls coming out and they all seem to be great news for Mitt Romney’s Presidential chances in 2012.

So … all of you folks who think Mitt Romney is the answer, and I used to be one of you … then you really need to close your eyes, and take a big deep breath and savor the sweet smell of President Mittens Romney …

There, wasn’t that good for you?

Okay … I’m glad you enjoyed that – now I need you to cover your nose with your collar because a big, fat guy in the back of the theater just farted …

… and there he goes …

President Mitt Romney … fading from our olfactory senses … no actually – he’s being burned into oblivion by the fat guy who just cut the cheese!

Okay … let’s look at this Mitt Romney thing. I want you to breathe in some facts …

1. There are two people in the United States who have a Socialist Health Care system named after them. One is Barack Obama, a Democrat (ObamaCare), and the other is Mittens Romney, a Republican (RomneyCare). Let’s put this into perspective … there are 305 MILLION people in the United states and ONLY TWO of them have a Socialist HealthCare system named after them. Does anyone REALLY believe the GOP is going to nominate one of those two for their 2012 Presidential campaign? Hmmmmm?

2. Barack Obama’s Socialist Health Care system has an advantage over that of Mitten’s … Obama’s health care system hasn’t failed yet – and the one belonging to Mittens HAS. More importantly – most all of ObamaCare doesn’t even take effect until AFTER the 2012 elections … so during those elections he’ll be able to say …

“Hey yo … well both Mitt and I believe in Single Payer … it’s just that, the way I’m doing it is going to be really great for all of us … while the way Mitt did it was … well, let’s just review this laundry list of the ‘failures’ of RomneyCare I just happen to have right here in my pocket.”

3. It won’t get that far though – because you’re going to get something like this from Huckabee, or Palin, or DeMint during the Republican Primary …

“Hey yo! What’s going on here? Have we learned nothing from the grassroots and the tea parties? Think about what a horrid abortion ObamaCare is going to be when it comes to fruition! Do you really want to trust Mitt Romney – who has his own health care system named after him, a system which by the way – is bankrupting his state … do you really want to nominate that guy as our candidated for President?”

It’s really … that simple … 1, 2, 3 …

Now there are “other” reasons why he can’t do it. Reasons such as – he’s guilty of some pretty wide flip-flops, all of which will be exposed ad nauseum during the GENERAL campaign if he were to make it that far – but he won’t. Republican voters won’t nominate this guy. Maybe Ayatollah John Cornyn would nominate him … or Ayatollah McCain …

But in the next election – the Republican grassroots voter will rule.

Do As I Say … NOT As I Do!

Yeah, it’s been an awesome week … the election of Scott Brown in Massachusetts; the Supreme Court ruling in favor of the First Amendment; the civil war in the Democratic party; and the collapse of ObamaCare – along with his Waterloo.

But I’m not commenting on any of that – I’m too happy about it all!

Instead – I’ll post this curio … this spectacular … “Do as I say, Not as I do!”

I’m watching this episode of “Overhaulin’” on cable right now and I’m watching Lance Armstrong’s 1970 Pontiac GTO being “overhauled”.

Cool yeah?

Yeah – really it is … except one thing – the car was given to Lance by his girlfriend … Cheryl Crowe.

I’m sure we’ve all heard of her … the woman who DEMANDS we use one sheet of toilet paper to wipe our asses so we can save resources on the planet and defeat “Global Warming” … and that’s not the end of it – as Cheryl has ALL KINDS of ludicrous ideas for the REST OF US LOSERS TO FOLLOW in order to save the planet.

But not her – or her boyfriend Lance.  Lance is free to own a 1970 GTO, which gets about 12 miles to each gallon of gas.  GAS is refined from OIL – and it’s a commodity that Cheryl gets angry about when we go to war to protect our supplies of it…

But it’s okay for her boyfriend Lance to guzzle it like soda pop.

It’s clear to me that celebrities like her only want our resources to become MORE SCARCE and EXPENSIVE so that they are the only ones left who can afford them.  Let the common folk eat cake – while WE of the elite class drive 1970 GTO’s.

Lakeshore Chrysler Rip Off

Well, it appears that the takeover of Chrysler by the Labor Unions hasn’t done much to improve customer service.

If you buy a Chrysler product – what a SUCKER you are.

Specifically, I want to talk about my wife’s Chrysler Pacifica that she purchased from Lakeshore Chrysler in Slidell, LA.

When she purchased the vehicle from Lakeshore – wow, the foks there at the dealership sure were nice.  They extolled the virtues of their vehicles and how wonderful Chrysler cars were.  I personally wasn’t sold – because I’ve always found Chrysler automobiles to be cheaply built with poor fit and finish – but my wife like the Pacifica soooo …

The purchase was made in late 2007.  Now here we are in late 2009 (about two years later) and my wife’s car floods on the driver’s side whenever it rains.

Taking it into Lakeshore Chrysler has been a tale of sorrow.  They at first accused my wife of leaving the door open when it rained.  Then they said a passing car must have “sprayed” water into an open door as it passed.  They postulated that perhaps she parked the car in a parking lot that flooded and maybe she didn’t realize it?  Of course – if a parking lot floods then the whole car floods – and not just the driver’s side in the front – but this didn’t stop the the “geniuses” at Lakeshore Chrysler from proposing those theories.

But my wife insisted that they rip into the car to discover the true issue.  Sure enough – they found that their crazy theories about flooding were all wrong and that, indeed – the car had a quality control fault which was caused by shoddy assembly / inspection at the Chrysler factory.  Apparently there was a hole that allowed water into the vehicle through the firewall.  This hole had been discovered and sealed with some kind silicone at the factory, which was obviously a shoddy repair that only lasted for two years.  Once that silicone dried and cracked – the car flooded.

The car has around 50,000 miles on it – past the Chrysler warranty.  It DOES have an extended warranty that’s valid – but Chrysler says it doesn’t cover this problem.  So to repair the problem and the damage caused – the bill to us was around $500.  Of course – Chrysler made sure to charge us RETAIL rates for both labor and materials for a problem they caused when the car was built.  What a great bunch of guys! … NOT!

In fact – the shitty customer service of Lakeshore Chrysler was evident when they pretty much tried to blow me off when I asked for an explanation of the problem.  They wanted to get down in the “legalities”.  That’s cool – but … it’s not a very good way to keep loyal customers when you won’t stand behind your product and fix the issues that YOU caused.

It’s all good though – because Chrysler is a piece of shit company and I’ve always known that and, NOW – so does my wife – and my kids, and my brothers and sisters and laws, and my parents and all my in-laws – and every one I work with.

None of them will be buying from Chrysler.  And when Chrysler goes bankrupt again it will the way of Eastern Airlines – and the karmic circle of justice will be complete.

All is right with the world folks!

Thoughts …

When Timothy McViegh blew up the Oklahoma City Federal Building – the radical leftist press didn’t attempt to “understand” his motivations, they didn’t attempt to “feel his pain”, they didn’t attempt to excuse his dispicable actions.

Instead … they stuck a needle in his arm.

And they did that because McViegh was a right wing White guy.   The kind of guy they hate.

Now that we have a Muslim Army Major that has killed thirteen American Heros, a guy who never served a day in combat zone and basically was a leech on the Army …

The radical socialist press is “all about” trying to understand this guy’s “profound pain”.

Laughable.

Put this guy in front a firing squad … and do it quickly.
